Sept 11 Comp Layout

My LO for today.  The photo is a bit grainy - taken with a video camera.  I just love the photo - Stu looks so cute.

This is the page for the sketch on Friday 9th September.  Haven't done the ones for the 6th, 7th or 8th.  Fell asleep driving home from work on Tuesday afternoon, so thought it would be a good idea to have some early nights.

This LO came together really easily - no pp to colour co-ordinate.

This is my LO for Saturday 10th.  Used a kit from Scrapbooking from Scratch, so this came together easily too.  love using kits!

Day 4 of Comp

Day 4 sketch.  I couldn't find any papers in any of the kits I have, so had to colour co-ordinate this myself.  I'm not very good at matching up papers & embellies without a kit - which is why I use them.  I think it looks pretty good & it is another page done.

This is my take on the day 3 sketch.  I don't think it's terribly good, but got some nice comments from the SFS girls.

September Scrap Competition

This is my page for day 2 of the comp.  I must say, I really like this page.  I am starting to feel more comfortable about displaying my pages.  This is the first time I have entered this type of thing.  Not much of a joiner! But am enjoying this.  Have checked out todays sketch and have chosen the photos.  Will print them out & then choose the papers and get stuck into it.

Scrapbooking From Scratch September Comp

This is my first page for this comp.
Had to use string.  Got to the end and still hadn't used string. So, after trying several different things, ended up plaiting it and attaching to the journal card.  Still didn't look "finished", so put the "So Sweet" tag & doodled a border to finish off.
